(Of course, on occasion, you may have to park a couple spots away, however it's rarely a problem to park right in front). The revamped home features a gated private entry walkway, garden, a blend of contemporary and antique furnishings, and a bright open-plan lounge space. The cottage was once the horse stables and care-takers cottage for a nearby plantation. We lovingly renovated it into a two bedroom guesthouse in 2017. It's accessed through a private gated entrance and an 80 foot long landscaped pathway to the front door. With a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and private entrance, its perfect for long term guests and is kid friendly. The guest house is equipped with high speed WI-FI internet, washer & dryer, and a well supplied kitchen. Please let us know how we can make your stay more comfortable. The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of restaurants, shops, banks, a small grocery store, movie theater, and the streetcar. The St. Charles Avenue streetcar line is three blocks away which gives you direct access to all of uptown and downtown via a 13.2 mile stretch of streetcar tracks.
