Whether exploring our beautiful historic city (6mi north) or splashing in the ocean (7mi east), you can’t go wrong with a stay here on James Island, a charming barrier island of Charleston. We've prepared a private space in our pet and smoke-free home which includes one bedroom with a comfy queen bed, a full bath with shower/tub and a cozy TV lounge that offers a breakfast/work table and a coffee station with mini-fridge and microwave. You’ll find your rooms to be immaculately clean & fresh.

The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

Centrally Located Duplex, Downtown, Beach

Centrally located on James Island, halfway between Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. It's only 3 miles to downtown Charleston's significant historic sites and world class restaurants. Folly Beach is 7 miles away and home to beautiful beaches, surfing, fishing and wonderful food and nightlife. This rental is walking distance to 3 breakfast spots, a grocery store, great restaurants, bars and Dock Street Park. Cute, cozy and full of amenities in a family friendly neighborhood.

This newly built carriage house is separate from the main house. The cottage is about 1,200 sqft so it very open and spacious and great views of marsh and our tidal creek. We have a separate work area with desk and a massive dinning table if you need more room to work or to gather with friends. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, massive shower, the list goes on. Wake up to the 2 grand oaks just outside your window. Visit Folly Beach (14 minutes) or Historic Downtown Charleston (9 minutes). Take a trip to the local Farmer's Market or the Municipal Golf Club. Then stroll down the (Woodland Shores) road for a spectacular view of the wetlands.

Welcome to our studio flat. The private detached unit is located in the heart of James Island in a friendly neighborhood. We are within walking distance to a row of restaurants/bars, a ropes course, fitness gym, a grocery store , and only a short six miles (5-15 mins drive) to Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston. We have a sweet pup who likes to greet you in the backyard and a sweet cat who roams around all the time.
