A ten minute walk away from the village of Caergwrle with its own "castle" and rail line Estyn Lodge is set in beautiful countryside and offers far reaching views over Cheshire and North Wales. Chester is famous for the 'Chester Rows' two tiered medieval shopping district. Farndon is situated on the border between England and Wales, an ideal location for touring North Wales.

Our cottage is just outside the pretty village of Malpas; a handy gateway for exploring Chester, Shrewsbury, North Shropshire and North Wales. Ideally positioned for events at Bolesworth Castle (15 mins) and Cholmondeley Castle (15 mins). Or for the quieter time, beautiful country walks and cycle rides can be started from the front door.
