Riverwood Hideaway

This OFF-GRID, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER and LIMITED ELECTRICITY. WE DO HAVE WI-FI. The kitchen has a propane refrigerator and gas oven/stove. Solar power is used for lights and some outlets. Propane fireplace / furnace for heat. The "bathroom" is an outhouse. You bring jugs of drinking water. Hand and dish wash water provided. We supply coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices and firewood.

This is an old resort with 10 cabins, it can be busy during the peak summer season.

Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. We have a great selection of games, books and movies to snuggle up with in front of our warm fireplace. Bring your snowmobiles, ATVs and ice fishing gear as we are close to the Gandy Dancer Trails and our beautiful river flows to two lakes for great fishing - end at our bonfire pit to roast S'mores and swap stories!

Deer Trail Cabin 6 is on the shore of Lake Delta in the heart of Delta. Popular day trips include the Hayward lakes area, the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Bayfield or exploring the endless trails, waterfalls and wilderness within Bayfield County. This is a furnished two bedroom cabin with full kitchen and bath. Great view of Lake Delta and next to swimming beach. There is direct ATV trail access from your cabin but we ask that you do not ride around the property.
