Newly constructed chalet, perched mountainside overlooking Margaree Valley. With high ceilings and huge windows, the space provides guests with a bright, airy and cozy atmosphere. Outside a 200 sq/ft veranda offer space to enjoy fresh air, sunshine, a good book, and incredible country views. When not enjoying the natural beauty of the 14 acre property, the chalet also offers professionally designed interior, full kitchens/BBQ, SMART TV, free Wifi, electric fireplace, heat and air conditioning. With no immediate neighbors, our chalets are surrounded by forest and farm land and the perfect place to relax, and unwind while overlooking the Valley below. It is the perfect balance of having all the amenities of home, as well as the opportunity to enjoy some peaceful time away. Regardless, on 14 acres, there is lots of room to stretch your legs! Hosts will be available via call/text/email or Airbnb message during your stay with us. If a problem arises, a team member will be on site to solve with problem as quickly as possible. Kody’s place is located in Margaree Valley Nova Scotia Canada. Approximately 6 kilometers off Cabot Trail, this location is the perfect base for your trip around the Trail, or around Western and Central Cape Breton. Our proximity to Inverness, Baddeck, Cheticamp and Ingonish make day trips from this base easy. As the last civic address on a public road, we are reachable by motor vehicle year round. During winter months our location is also easily accessible by snowmobile, and during the Spring, Summer and Autumn by ATV.

Cabot Trail Ocean Front & Mountain View Lodge

Knotty Pine Lodge is an open concept beautiful and spacious retreat offering both privacy and luxury amenities. Located on the Cabot Trial, nearing hiking trails, golf clubs, beaches, kayaking, paddle boarding, whale watching, snowmobile trails and the "MUST VISIT" Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The solid wood lodge sits on a large private wooded lot that features a 1300 ft driveway, manicured lawn, spectacular panoramic mountain & ocean views and astonishing star-gazing at night.

R&D Retreat

This small traditional Acadian-style home is just off the Cabot Trail, and a 5 minute drive to the popular Gypsum Mine. This home is a cozy retreat if you are looking to explore the National Park and its hiking trails, or in the winter, the many snowmobile trails in the Highlands (lots of parking for machines/trailer). You will be a 15 minute walk down the road to the ocean and the Buttereau swimming spot, and the infamous Aucoin's Bakery is just a hop, skip and jump away.

Peaceful Pines Cottage

Now with Outdoor Private Hot Tub!! This tranquil four season cottage is located Big Pond, Cape Breton. Simple but extremely comfortable our second home has all the amenities you will need for a relaxing getaway! Fully equipped kitchen with open-concept, cozy living room. Two double bedrooms and a full bathroom are on the second level. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap on the master bedroom balcony. A sunroom on the main floor completes this welcoming cottage.

Wild Rose Cottage

This cottage is centrally located between Baddeck, Inverness and Cheticamp. It is approximately 30 min each way. It features a lovely, large back yard with firepit area and mountain views. The Portree bridge is a short walk down the road, which is a popular swimming spot. The river runs along the opposite side of the road. There are lots of local beaches, hiking trails and golf courses in the area. The property also has direct access to the highland snowmobile/atv trails.

Forest Cottage; modern 2 bedroom Cottage

This 2 bedroom cottage has a private yard and screen room. 2 small bedrooms both have queen beds and dressers, full living room, fully equipped kitchen (just bring food/coffee). Full bathroom with walk-in shower. Private BBQ. FAST Starlink WIFI, shampoo, soaps provided. Leashed dogs A-ok! 🐕 😊 Driveway is steep but well maintained in all seasons. Sorry, no motorcycles, please. WINTER BOOKINGS- snow tires and AWD needed for driveway, but it is always plowed and sanded.

We are located just 20 minutes from the town of Inverness, where you can enjoy a round of golf at our world class golf courses as well as enjoy many great restaurants and beaches. Lakefront apartment provides amazing views in a comfortable setting for an enjoyable vacation or travel to Cape Breton. We are 30 minutes from the Newfoundland Ferry terminal in North Sydney, 20 minutes from the entrance to the Cabot Trail via the Englishtown Cable Ferry . We are 30 minutes from the Village of Baddeck, home of the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and the and the Falls in rear Baddeck. Louisbourg is 1 1/2 hours away.

Swallow Bank Cottage #3 on the Margaree River

This one bedroom cottage is located in Margaree Centre. Our four, full housekeeping cottages sit along the Margaree River, just minutes from the Cabot Trail. Cottage 3 has been recently renovated inside and out. New bathroom, upgraded kitchen, and a queen bed with a luxury Logan & Cove mattress. The cottage also has a sofa bed in the living area for extra sleeping space. Check in is anytime after 3pm. Check out is 11am.
