We’re minutes away from Inverness, Cabot Links & the most beautiful beaches on our island This unit sleeps 6 comfortably but has the option to sleep an additional 2 on sofabeds if sharing a smaller space is not a concern We’re the perfect last stop when travelling the Cabot Trail from East to the West side of the island & we’re only a short drive to the mainland when leaving or if you prefer to start your Cape Breton adventure travelling up the west coast we are on your way to the Cabot Trail

Many other must see spots in Cape Breton just a short distance away! This home features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and open concept living area/kitchen. Kitchen is fully equipped and barbecue as well for cooking. Master suite upstairs has a king bed with bathroom including walk-in shower and free-standing tub. Additional gazebo/sunroom just built.

Experience the unique outdoor rainfall shower, explore the lake with provided kayaks, hike the private trail to a water cascade & finish the day unwinding under the stars while having a lakeside bonfire! As our guest, you are just steps from fabled Cabot Links, iconic Inverness Beach and surrounded by all the amenities the village has to offer, shopping, dining and entertainment. These cottages are fully equipped with everything you will need to enjoy your stay.

A boulder-studded wall rises up towards a stone walkway, which is fitted with an integrated fire pit. The outdoor hot tub & seasonal outdoor shower are located next to the cottage deck.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Our home & little piece of artistic heaven is located just 3 km from Inverness, Cabot Golf, a 3 km sandy beach & 30 sec walk from my gallery. Your cozy guest suite is located on the top floor & includes a bedroom, living room, kitchenette, bathroom & your own private entrance.
