The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm
As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

Close to the A9 for great access to explore the Highlands. Deep into whisky country, distilleries and visitor centers for some of the worlds most recognizable brands of Scotch Whisky are on your doorstep. The award winning Dalmore Distillery & the world famous Glenmorangie Distillery Both have full visitor experience centers and guided tours and are a mere 10 mins away. You’ll love the views here of the Cromarty Firth and tranquility that comes from staying in a traditional Scottish Farmhouse.

Situated beside the shores of the Cromarty Firth with spectacular views to the Black Isle our cottage sleeps six comfortably, and is ideally placed for touring, with access to superb beaches, forests, hill walking, golf, etc. The NC 500 route is minutes away. One of the best natural harbours in Europe, the Royal Navy had a base here until 1956. Now oil rigs line up in the Firth and liners visit every week in the summer season. Invergordon's spectacular murals are a must see!

Ideally located at the start of the North Coast 500 (NC500), just 23 miles north of Inverness, and a short distance between Evanton and Alness, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Scottish highlands Located between the Inverness- Wick railway line and the B817 (the old A9), it’s perfect for walking, canoeing, and fishing, or just relaxing.

This comfortable semi-detached cottage is located next to the owner's home in a tranquil woodland garden surrounded by stunning Highland scenery. The cottage is exceptionally well placed for touring the North Coast 500 route and the scenic Cromarty Firth area. The cottage is just a few miles away from the famous Ardross castle, where 'The Traitors' is filmed. The cottage is in a rural location with the nearest town being 5 miles away, so having your own transport is essential.

Situated with easy access to the NC500 and on the National Cycle Route, Rowan Cabin is a ‘Summerhouse’ in our garden which we have transformed into self catering accommodation. It enjoys views to Fyrish and the West and a minute’s walk to our Loch . The cabin has well appointed kitchen, bathroom and comfortable living space with a steep stair to a low height sleeping area. The cabin has a deck to be enjoyed. This peaceful cabin is ideally situated for exploring the Highlands.

Centrally located, the whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from bus and rail links, restaurants, leisure centre, park and a Co-op is opposite the maisonette making it super convenient. On the NC500 route it is just a 5-10 minute walk to the Dalmore distillery and farm store, a 25 minute drive to Inverness (approx 21 miles) and a short drive to Ardross castle home of the hit Traitors series. The Coach House at Manse House
Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome.
