You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after first 2 people. Once used by seasonal farm labor in the 1930s, Bunkhouse Seventy-Four is a fully restored historic bunkhouse with all the modern amenities for a comfortable getaway. Perfect for couples, it features a full kitchen, bath, queen bed, a spacious porch, beautiful antique stained glass windows, a private outdoor soaking tub (Apr-Nov) on a 7 acre hobby farm. Welcome to Paradise Cottage nestled on Lake Paradise! Cozy and warm with wood finishes throughout. Includes three-tiered deck/patio, with the lowest level sitting over the water. Perfect for fishing (this lake hosts an annual fishing tournament), canoeing/kayaking, or just relaxing. Great for bird watching, with great blue herons, egrets, ducks, bald eagles, plovers, cormorants, woodpeckers and other species seen daily.
