The spiral staircase leads to our favorite feature, the loft bedroom with picture windows & treetop views!

Walk to Town! Cozy Studio Cabin in the Woods

Blocks away from the heart of Idyllwild, yet surrounded by trees and wildlife, this secluded gem is the perfect romantic or quiet getaway! Watch the jays and squirrels eat peanuts from the deck or nibble at seeds from the yard. This cabin was completely remodeled with a hand laid shower mosaic to the wooden beams made from trees grown and harvested directly from our property, and much more, you will see the love and craftsmanship that went into finishing this cabin. Welcome to Steller's Nest! This cozy little cabin in the trees is the perfect romantic getaway or quiet family retreat - located just minutes from downtown Idyllwild and several popular trailheads. Welcome to this unique combination of an Idyllwild woodsy cabin and your own private Hawaiian tropical tiki treehouse! The Cozy Lodge & Tiki Treehouse sits down off a private, quiet, unpaved dirt road. The lodge is a 250sq ft cozy studio-guest cabin decorated with Idyllwild vintage decor and is backed up onto a secluded forest corridor with the tiki bar just a few steps away (think Pirates of the Caribbean meets Swiss Family Robinson). 5 min drive into the heart of Idy. Pet friendly/no pet fees.

Very close to Idyllwild Arts school. Park in front of your private cabin. Idyllwild has wonderful hikes, wildlife & snow in the winter. There’s a ceiling fan & no AC but It is 20+ degrees cooler than off the hill as it is at 5500 ft elevation in the San Jacinto mountains. No partiers! Quiet Hrs 10pm-7am

At DTWild you can soak in the hot tub, rekindle by the fire, bbq, ping pong under the pines, nap in the hammock, stargaze, explore, watch movies, work if you must, play games, namaste it up, dance it off, play in the snow, howl at the moon, and yes we have Wifi.

Nestled among cedars and oaks in the woods of Pine Cove, let this "Cabin in the Sky" be your mountain retreat. The spacious porch accommodates the trunks of tall pines giving it a treehouse feel. There is a table for dining al fresco, L-shaped outdoor seating and a swing just for gazing at the stars. For the cold nights, a wood burning stove and heater provide warmth and comfort, along with lots of blankets. A coffee bar and complimentary snacks are there for the taking. Our cabin is nestled in the pines and is close to the city center and restaurants. You’ll love our cabin because of the cozy feel, outdoor space, fireplace, jacuzzi, & hip decor. The master bedroom with queen bed is on the ground floor, as is the bonus bed, in a nook just around the corner from the living room. Just up the ladder is the loft, with a queen bed and TV.
