Dieser 85 Quadratmeter große Rückzugsort bietet eine abgeschiedene Zuflucht mit atemberaubenden Aussichten auf Berge, Seen und Wälder und schafft damit die perfekte Kulisse für einen ruhigen Urlaub. Nur 45 Minuten Fahrt von Reykjavik entfernt, ist es ideal für diejenigen gelegen, die die natürliche Schönheit Islands erkunden möchten. Charming Luxury cottage - panorama view - hot tub

Our new renovated 85 square meter cottage is charming and welcoming, surrounded with beautiful Icelandic nature. The cottage is located at the top of the slope with a mountain, lake and woodland view. Direct access for nice hiking or romantic walk to the salmon river and the lake. It is close to many attractive destinations worth to visit. All beds are brand new and comfortable and heat in all floors. We wish our guests to feel like home and enjoy what the cottage and neigbourhood has to offer.

The Lake House is part of Hvammsvik Nature Resort & Hot Springs, a gated 1200 acre estate along the coast enjoying spectacular nature and views, only 40 min away from Reykjavik. It's a magical place where you become one with nature in a rustic yet luxurious lodge with top quality furniture and art and your own hot spring, fishing lake and close to many amazing sights like the Golden Circle, Glymur waterfall & hiking paths. On site you will find the renowned Hvammsvík Hot Springs, Bistro & Bar.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Quiet, Secluded Lake Home with Stunning Views

View the sunset over the lake or see the Aurora Borealis, when the conditions are right, from the deck wrapping around the house or even from the hot tub. This secluded home situated in a mountain valley offers wooden accents throughout, and comfortable Amenities. It feels far away from any city, and yet it is only 40 min drive from center Reykjavik. Many points of interest in the west and south of Iceland are within easy reach. Note there are 90km from Keflavik international airport.

Aurora Horizon Retreat

A quiet and peaceful getaway with amazing ocean views. Located in the beautiful fjord called “Hvalfjörður”. Only a 45 minute drive from the capital. The interior was completely renovated in 2024. You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.

Escape to this cozy lakeside cottage in Hvalfjörður, offering breathtaking views and modern comforts. After a hike to Glymur, Iceland's second-highest waterfall, relax in the nearby Hvammsvík Hot Springs. Enjoy several hot pools, a sauna, and a restaurant offering local dishes. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need, including a TV, washing machine, and a well-stocked kitchen. Whether you're adventuring or unwinding, this peaceful retreat is the perfect getaway.

Himri the mountain villa

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Himri is very spacious (300 sqm) and has everything you could wish for - a fully equipped gym and game room, a sauna and a hot tub. We just bought the villa and just finished a complete renovation. Hóll Guesthouse

Come for a stay at a farm in the South-west part of Iceland. Enjoy the nature on a conventional Icelandic farm. During winter you might see the northern lights and experience the constant day during summer. Dairy cows, sheep and horses roam around on the farm in the summer but stay inside during winter. Additionally, a total of 4 dogs live, work and play on the farm. This is a working farm so don't be alarmed by tractors and all sorts of farm noise and smells.

A private house in peaceful location

Our private home is located in a quite neighborhood and is perfect for families or small groups. It has 3 bedrooms one with 160 cm bed , one with 140 cm sofa bed and one with 2x90 cm beds. Visit the main attractions in Akranes, Guðlaug, Langisandur, swimming pool, museum and local park within walking distance and the lighthouse is around 4 km from the house. Great location to stop at during your trip around Iceland. Around 40 minutes drive to Reykjavík.

Check in/out without personal contact 35 min. drive from Reykjavik by the lake Medalfellsvatn, near Hvalfjordur. Exact location will be given closer to your check in.
