Our beautiful Malarhorn Guesthouse is located in Drangsnes and featuring in-room coffee/tea facilities and free Wi-Fi in Westfjords, Iceland. Our facilities are modern, clean and you can expect friendly atmosphere in the mesmerizing surroundings of our area. The region possesses many nice trails for cross-country skiing(winter) or short hikes all year around. The beach is enticing and you can also see remarkable bird life and seals. There is an extra bed available for a 3rd person for a fee.

This comfy and nice One bedroom apartment is a great base for your travels up to the north of Iceland. We are located close to the sea in the town of Blönduós. The apartment comes with one queen size bed in the common area (living room) and two single beds in the bedroom. There is a private kitchen that is well equipped for you to make your own meals if you don't feel like going out for the evening. The apartment has private bathroom with shower as well a living room with TV and chairs.

Studio Apartment - White House

This comfy and cosy studio apartment is a great base for your travels up to the north of Iceland. We are located close to the sea. The studio apartment comes with one king size bed in one bedroom. There is a private kitchen that is well equipped for you to make your own meals if you don't feel like going out for the evening. The apartment has private bathroom with shower as well a living room with TV and chairs. The famous Hvítserkur is less than an hour drive from Blönduós.

Valey - Countryside Escape

Now open for bookings from june 21st, 2026 at Valey Countryside stays. We call this Villa Valey - Countryside Escape Set in the peaceful Icelandic countryside, this high end Villa is surrounded by open fields, fresh air, and mountain views. Icelandic horses often graze just outside the house, creating a calm and authentic rural atmosphere. Despite the quiet setting, the property is only minutes from Hvammstangi with restaurants, cafés, and essential services nearby.

Rustic cottage by the sea

This is a rustic cottage located by the shore where the sounds of the waves will rock you to sleep. There is a kitchenette and a WC in the cottage and guests have access to a geothermal hot tub with scenic views over the fjord. The cottage can accommodate up to 5 adults. Baby cot available upon request. Please note that the cottage does not have a shower. Guests can use the shared showers in the service building that is located next to the hot tub (40 meters away).

Small Rustic Cottage by the sea.

This is a small, rustic cottage located by the shore where the sounds of the waves will rock you to sleep. There is a kitchenette and a WC in the cottage and guest have access to showers in a nearby service building and access to a geothermal hot tub, with scenic views over the fjord. The cottage is heated with geothermal water from a nearby hot spring. The cottage can accommodate two adults and two children under the age of 10 years.

Seaside cottage & geothermal tub

This is a newly constructed wooden cottage located by the shore where the sounds of the waves will rock you to sleep. There is a kitchenette, WC/shower room in the cottage guests have access to a geothermal hot tub, with scenic views over the fjord. The cottage is heated with geothermal water from a nearby hot spring. The cottage can accommodate four adults in a bunk bed and double sofa bed.

Cozy house in the village

The house has 3 bedrooms. 1st bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed 2nd bedroom has two single beds 3rd bedroom has two single beds. Access to the terrace is through the bathroom. There are two bathrooms in the house, showers in both. The terrace has a hot tub, grill, table and chairs. Spacious living room and good kitchen. A washing machine and a dryer is available in the laundry room.

Supreme Room

This comfortable superior bedroom is a great base for your travels up to the north of Iceland. We are located close to the sea of the town of Blönduós. There is of course free Wifi and free parking. The room has one double bed and private bathroom. There is a fridge in the room as well water kettle to heat water for tea. The famous Hvítserkur is less than an hour drive from Blönduós.
