Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

If you are looking for a farm stay in the redwoods, come stay with us at this studio cottage with a full kitchen, washer dryer, patio, and fire pit. Enjoy the early morning (and sometimes all day) sounds of ducks, geese, turkeys and cattle . Surrounded by acres of Redwood trees, no street lights, and lots of wildlife. The apartment is accessed via a separate private entrance on the ground floor.. This private space is ideal as a home base for exploring the amazing Redwood Coast. The spacious yard with play equipment makes it a fun stay for families and the well appointed interior is comfortable for visiting professionals.

My guest space is a small, private room (11x7, not incl bathroom) attached to the back of my house. The room has a private entrance off the backyard with an attached private bath. I offer keyless entry. Guests can enjoy the attached deck off the room and relax in a peaceful yard. The room is a burst of color to contrast with the gray days in Humboldt. The room is a short walk to the zoo and several restaurants. Old town is a quick drive.
