Located in what locals call Northtown, our Arcata home is a perfectly situated home base. You will find several eateries, cafes and a natural food grocery store all within a two block walk. You can access the two bridges over to the Cal Poly Humboldt campus a few blocks away and just beyond campus is the Arcata Community Forest with towering redwoods. Downtown Arcata is just a seven minute walk down the hill where you will find more restaurants and unique shops on the plaza.

Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

We are right off the highway and an easy drive to beaches and redwoods. Your comfort and ease are our #1 priority! Gated with private, secure parking and fully fenced in yards, this one-bedroom home is very clean and custom built with a comfy queen bed, sleeper sofa, & full kitchen. Also includes a sauna and outdoor shower.

My guest space is a small, private room (11x7, not incl bathroom) attached to the back of my house. The room has a private entrance off the backyard with an attached private bath. I offer keyless entry. Guests can enjoy the attached deck off the room and relax in a peaceful yard. The room is a burst of color to contrast with the gray days in Humboldt. The room is a short walk to the zoo and several restaurants. Old town is a quick drive.
