Ziehe dich in die stille Waldlandschaft in sorgfältig restaurierten, originalen „Joe Webb“-Blockhütten zurück: Die Gilmer Lodge verbindet die Nostalgie der ursprünglichen rustikalen Architektur mit modernen Ausstattungsmerkmalen, darunter eine komplett neue Küche und Badezimmer. Diese designorientierte Unterkunft liegt unter einem alten Baumdach und umfasst zwei separate Blockhütten – aus den Jahren 1790 und Anfang der 1900er Jahre –, die zusammen als ein einziges Haus fungieren. Die beiden Hütten liegen nebeneinander und sind außen durch eine umlaufende, überdachte Veranda verbunden.

Bezaubernde und frisch renovierte Hütte in einer privaten, bewaldeten Gemeinde zwischen Highlands und Franklin im Nantahala National Forest. Unsere helle und luftige Hütte liegt auf fast 4 Hektar waldigem, bergigem Gelände und ist privat und malerisch, aber dennoch bequem in die Stadt zu erreichen. Wir lieben es, auf der Veranda zu entspannen, umgeben von der Natur und die Geräusche der Bäche und die Aussicht auf die Berge zu genießen. Es ist eine ruhige Hütte, um sich zu entspannen und die kühle Brise und die Landschaft der Smoky Mountains zu genießen.
