The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

What used to be an old working farm has now been turned into its own little holiday village. Guests will enjoy the home comforts of open plan ground floor, consisting of fully equipped kitchen, dining & lounge area and the first floor has two bedrooms one en-suite & a separate family bathroom. Within walking distance of the popular Carsington Water. Dog friendly accepting 2 x dogs, a fee of £25.00 per dog is payable (not included in price). Set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside in the village of Parkhead, between South Wingfield and Crich The property is an ideal base for walking, writing, climbing, cycling, exploring and relaxing. Lots of local walks Close to Crich Tranway and an ideal base for Chatsworth and Haddon The property is very rural with outstanding views across to South Wingfield Outside there is the use of an above ground pool during the summer and seating areas (closed Sept - mid May)

The nut house is situated on a decked area at the bottom of a beautiful garden where you will find wood sculptures, many flowers, plants and wildlife. We are also situated 50 minutes to manchester and the lake district and 25 minutes to Blackpool
