Once known for being the location of a small bait store, the property has been transformed into a charming cabin like home with a high perched porch and deck overlooking the water.

Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Take it easy at this tranquil Walter F George lake getaway. A large hut for fish and wild game cleaning makes for a unique backyard treasure. Plenty of room to back boat and trailer right up and unload your catch. Relax around the fire pit, grill or just chill. Located in a community that allows golf cart/4 wheelers, so your are welcome to bring yours. A mile to Hardridge Creek State Park, and close driving distance to Thomas Mill Creek and White Oak.

Plenty of character, peaceful, private and quiet. 18 minutes from Ross Clark Circle, Dothan Al., 15 minutes from Headland Al. 19 minutes from Blakely Ga. 15 minutes to Log Cabin Restaurant in Georgia and Huggin Molly’s in Abbeville Al. Screened in porch with TV & pool table. Shelter for your boat with a bonus deck under the shelter. Community boat ramp. There are two guest passes on the island in the kitchen.

The Osprey

The Osprey is a cozy cottage with its own private dock and is nestled along the water front of Pataula creek at Lake Walter F. George, nationally recognized for it's great fishing. Spectacular views, peaceful surroundings, evening star gazing, and deer all year long grazing in the yard. Pataula State Park is 2 miles away for very convenient boat launching.
