Situated in a quiet part of the small Victorian town of Helensburgh, a 5 minute walk to the centre, shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes and Helensburgh Central and Upper Railway Stations. Local amenities include the esplanade, sailing, tennis and swimming. Situated beside the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park,you can also enjoy woodland rambles, hill-walking, kayaking, cycling or golf, and perhaps a visit to Hill House,a National Trust Property, designed by Rennie Mackintosh. The area is a paradise for anyone who loves peace, wildlife or the outdoors. Tucked away in a relatively undiscovered corner of Argyll, the location is remote yet easily accessible from Glasgow. I spend much of the year here myself but love to rent it to others to enjoy whilst I'm away.

The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.

Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
