Built in the early 19th century, Church Mouse Cottage has all the charm and character you would expect from a Georgian property. The cottage is beautiful, warm and comfortable making it the perfect bolt hole. A lot of thought has gone into ensuring that this is not just a place to stay but a place to enjoy being. Its location is an ideal blend of being tucked away in complete tranquility whilst still being just a 5 minute stroll from the thriving high street with its many shops, pubs and cafes.

The Orangery, Organic Vineyard stay with pool.

The Orangery is a studio space situated at Coes Farm an organic vineyard and orchard making natural wines and ciders and offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room. We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.

There is a rear private deck with seating. Ideal for romantic escapes or active holidays. Enjoy the outdoors by foot & bike direct from the cabin. The local pub & village shop are just 10 minutes walk. Perfect for Glyndebourne, Charleston & Firle weddings or explore nearby towns of Lewes or Brighton.

The pool is maintained Oct-Mar for cold water swimming, heated pool from 28th March 2026. Quiet location, country walks (close to National Park) and a local pub 1 mile away. The Woodland Zeppelin (Outdoor Bath Available April to November) Our Zeppelin landed in 2017 and has been a popular romantic and lifestyle retreat, from busy lives, since then. The woodland Zeppelin is located near our original rental, Airship 001, but is designed differently inside to appeal to all couples and those who have enjoyed their stays with us, previously. This accommodation has no mains plug sockets and sparse mobile signal. It was designed by the architect Roderick James.
