There is access to public transportation (bus) within walking distance (less than a mile). The walk is doable but not incredibly pedestrian friendly. Charming South Austin Retreat

Perfect South Austin retreat just minutes away from the vibrant South Congress, trendy South Lamar, iconic Barton Springs, scenic Lady Bird Lake, and the heart of Downtown along with free parking. Inside, you'll find a spacious bedroom featuring a luxurious California king bed and ample closet storage. Large widows for natural light (curtains are on all windows for privacy) . The Tree Haus

The Tree Haus is 675 sq. ft., near Texas State University on five acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. River play and trail access in local area. It is 6 miles from downtown San Marcos and convenient to TSU (about 10 minutes to Bobcat Stadium). The Tree Haus is above my Studio, has two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, coffee and tea service as well as a homemade breakfast bread for a fast start in the AM. We do not accept children under 8, non smoking, no pets, clean environment.
