The Paper Mill Stables

Set in the beautiful grounds of a fifteenth century Wealden hall house, The Stables is a delightful oak framed cottage - a hidden-away and peaceful haven for two. There is a sitting room with woodburner for super cosy nights in, and the pretty bedroom has a luxurious 4000 pocket sprung king size bed, and quality Egyptian cotton linen. Outside is a secluded garden with a terrace, and seventy acres of woodland and pasture to wander through; our resident Labradors will be pleased to join you!

Be a country person, garden lover, we are a 200 year old stable block is super light, with vaulted ceilings. A large sitting room, big bedroom, up a step to the kitchen/diner and bathroom. The newly fitted kitchen has sink, microwave, hob, and fridge/freezer. Mayfield village walks. Fo National Trust houses, castles, and the South Downs Small dogs welcome. The cottage overlooks the cutting gardens. A Private seating areas & wifi good for a working retreat! double sofa.

Charming Converted Stables

Nestled within the estate of Sissinghurst Castle, this charming converted stable block offers a unique and peaceful stay. Surrounded by the National Trust's ancient woodland and farmland, the world famous Castle gardens created by Vita and Harold are a mere stroll down the drive. It is immaculately presented and enjoys far reaching views across the Kent countryside, making for a wonderful base to explore the Garden of England and its historic houses, gardens and vineyards.

Enjoy this cosy but spacious room, it has its own entrance with a south facing patio and garden. An ensuite shower room and super king size bed. The room has lovely views,and private garden over looking a tree lined paddock, full of wildlife. Enjoy an early morning cuppa whilst relaxing in the super king size bed, or a evening glass of wine on the patio, and you may even see an owl swooping and foraging for food. There is a great pub only a short 5 minute walk away.
