The Red Door Carriage House

The Red Door Carriage house is a historic 90 year-old structure that was the carriage house for the original farmhouse (our home) on the property. Located in beautiful West Roxbury Mass., the unit is 3 miles from Fenway (Red Sox), Longwood Medical Center (all of the major hospitals) and 2 miles from Boston College. Enjoy a quiet getaway, with private entrance, in a private loft apartment situated in South Shore, MA. The loft is a large, open floorplan flooded with natural light. Enjoy nature walks at the Abington/Hanover rail trail for a great morning walk or a nice evening on the private balcony. There is a small kitchen in the loft at your disposal. We have a parking space in front of the house, fast WIFI, and a designated desk for work if you need it. This loft Is amazingly comfortable and peaceful.

Take a reading break in the adjacent room, outfitted to look like a Victorian British library. A spacious living room, dining room, kitchen, and full bath complete this lovely property. Enjoy parking in a driveway in the typically-packed city. We are just a quick and enjoyable 12-minute walk to Essex street and all that downtown has to offer!

Set in a quiet cul-de-sac at the end of our driveway, this tiny house is part of our family compound and working horse farm. We have many animals. Enjoy your space, knowing we are just 50 yards away should you need anything. This is a true tiny house experience. The kitchenette has everything you need. The sleep loft is accessible by a ladder and has a low ceiling. Disclaimer there is no door on the toilet, which is tucked away in the kitchen area. WiFi connection is not guaranteed.
