Fast 800 Mbs fiber internet/WiFi. 45 minutes to Acadia National Park, 30 min. to Belfast, 20 min. to Castine. Perfect base for hiking, kayaking, sailing, or discovering the maritime past of the area. We’re very pet friendly!

PETS MUST BE DISCUSSED. Crate trained pets only. DISCOUNTS for minis or full weeks; ask. INFANTS must be mentioned when you request to book; must be listed as a guest or child. We charge for all people including infants. This is a summer cottage that we also rent in the spring and fall when weather permits. It is heated with wood and you will need to use the wood stove. Early Riser barn-loft on Organic farm near Acadia

A unique offering for those who want a true farm experience! A clean, rustic above-barn space. Farm animals live below-Winston the roo may crow (early!) Chadde our pet pig may grunt, chickens will cluck! There is a 2 burner stove, cold water sink seasonally(jugs provided in winter) a dorm fridge, and basic kitchen ware. Tea and coffee provided, veg & eggs for sale The shower is at the main house, and a bucket-style compost toilet is in the apartment. There’s a full bed and a fold out couch.

Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

All guests have full access to common areas: Indoor kitchen in the main building, outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and bonfire pit.

Pets are welcome as we have a small fenced in area in the backyard. Bring home a lobster and cook it in the fully furnished kitchen.
