This 1 bed/1 bath cottage has a dishwasher, refrigerator, washer/dryer, high-speed internet, & screened-in porch. On the property is a dock with a sunning deck, stairs leading into the water, and a floating dock to enjoy. There is campfire ring with lawn chairs and large mature trees. The river makes this a tranquil getaway with almost no boat traffic or current.

The Kidd

The Kidd is the definition of simple and tiny with a 68 sq. ft. footprint downstairs and an 50 sq. ft. upstairs. The Kidd has a kitchen sink and shower but NO commode. There is no frig or cooking facilities. There is a community bathhouse a short distance away. There is no tv or wifi. Well behaved dogs are allowed with a $20 pet fee per reservation. No smoking in the houses.

Gruene Historical District is less than a 5 min drive from our location. You can also easily drive strait towards Prince Solms Park where the tube shoot and Comal River are located. Canyon Lake and the Horseshoe on the Guadalupe are a 15 min drive away. Our property is neighboring one of the historical farmsteads in the area, founded in the 1880’s.
