Welcome to The Alpine Aframe, a charming cabin nestled at over 10,000 feet in the Rockies. For eight months, this cabin was our passion project. We thoughtfully remodeled the space to create a serene and elevated atmosphere. The cabin is a 5 min walk to the St. Mary's Glacier trailhead and a 25 min drive to downtown Idaho Springs. Stay with us and experience Grand Lake without all the travel and logistics to find rides into town. Reminder: there are NO ride-shares or public transportation. Make it easy on yourself and your friends; stay with us. I will also allow early check-in as early as 8 am and late checkout if time and cleaning schedules allow it!

You will not find a better view of Grand Lake than from the patio of this cozy, mountain lake home. From sunrise to sunset, firework shows, fly overs and wildlife viewing - you can’t beat it. This is a VERY well stocked mountain retreat owned and managed by me - Pickles! It’s one of my favorite places to visit and when I’m not - I love to share it with you! **Smoking is not tolerated in or near the residence. Cozy Cabin on the Fraser River

Cozy & comfortable cabin located on the Fraser River. You can hear the peaceful river from the Master Bedroom or Living Room. The trout filled Frazer river is 50 feet away! You are twenty minutes from Winter Park or Grand Lake and ten minutes to Hot Sulfur Springs. Granby has a large grocery store a mile down the road and several nice restaurants and local shops. That Dam Cabin!

This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!
