The home is located in the Spirit Valley neighborhood in West Duluth. Canal Park and Downtown is a 10 min drive.

Close to Lake Superior, Lester park (MTB biking, hiking, paddling, ski trails with lights till 10 PM), 5.5 miles to Bentleyville (biggest holiday attraction in MN), 2 blocks to lake walk, great for biking, running, walking & rollerblading. Pizza, coffee shop, park & gym all within 2-4 blocks in a beautiful, family friendly area neighborhood.

Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

This is a bright, modern home with all the amenities needed for a great vacation. The private hot tub, steps outside the front door, makes your up north trip feel like a true vacation. Relax and enjoy nature in this quiet country setting or take the short drive into Lakeside for area attractions. Roasting s’mores over the campfire is the icing on the cake. Just ten minutes from the Duluth Lakewalk and the Duluth Traverse Mountain bike trail system. The home is 25 minutes from Canal Park.

Off Grid cabin, Cozy, warm up by the fire.

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooded acres. A short hike over the Sucker River on a storybook foot bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin. You will need to be physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.

We are located 5 miles off lake Superior near some of the best outdoor activities MN has to offer: Gooseberry Falls (13min), Split Rock (20min) and Stewart river (3mi) for trout fishing.
