Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

A bright and recently modernised grade 1 listed Cotswold stone cottage, 100 yards from the Cotswold Way with breathtaking views down the Stroud Valley, its own parking and secluded outdoor eating. Filled with natural light, it is very peaceful and extremely comfortable with luxury bedding (super king or twin bed) and kitchen. An idyllic spot for walking, cycling, exploring the local scenery or simply escaping the city Painswick is 10 minutes from Stroud ( 87 mins hourly train to London).

Tom's Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and fire wood provided, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated shower room is close to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs. Please note there is no WiFi.

The property has been newly refurbished and is available for up to 2 people with access to a secluded garden space within our lovely orchard surroundings. The property has easy access and ample parking. Located within easy reach of Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Gloucester, The Malverns, Cotswolds and M5, the accommodation is in a perfect position for exploring all that the area has to offer.

Situated just off the Cotswold Way national trail, it's the perfect pit-stop for keen walkers (or runners!). If sight seeing is more your thing, the popular 18th Century Rococo Garden is just a 5 minute walk away. Ideally located for travel to Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Gloucester all within a 20 min drive.

It is likely to be around 500 years old, and has been lovingly restored to re-create an unmistakably historic building with all the modern comforts you could possibly want in a holiday home. From a four poster bed to a sleek, modern bathroom, from a beamed, cosy lounge to a characterful kitchen, and from a winding oak staircase to a breathtaking view of the spectacular Abbey.

Luxury Shepherd's Hut in The Cotswolds

Sans Souci is a bespoke Shepherd's hut, lovingly hand built to an incredibly high spec. Completed in April 2021, it has a double bed, and double sofa bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a shower room with sink and compost toilet, and a log burning stove. There are far reaching views of the Cotswold hills, which can be taken in from the South-facing deck. Enjoy al fresco meals, cooking over the fire pit in the garden or walks galore in the local countryside.

Chapel End

Set on Cleeve Hill, this converted chapel is a unique and peaceful getaway. Located on the Cotswold Way, it is ideal for walkers, is dog friendly and has fabulous views. Next door is the Rising Sun pub and it is a short walk to Cleeve Hill Golf Club. It is also perfect for horse-racing enthusiasts with the Cheltenham Racecourse close by.
