The Thistle at Texas Comfort Haus

This is the one of four rooms at our Texas Comfort Haus. A Queen bed, large room and private bathroom are accessed from the side of our property. Single bedroom/bathroom combo with access doors from the exterior. We are only the THIRD OWNERS of this 115+ old historic home. It was used as a home, school and to house missionaries over the years. Now we share it. We LOVE its charm, and chose to not change many of those things. Yes, the floors are original, doors creak and insulation did not exist.

Casita Geoda is also 12 miles away from riverside music venue, Whitewater Amphitheater and river tubing access. Casita Geoda sleeps up to four guests but we think it's the perfect getaway for two. Note - AC is set to 70° minimum.

Bluebonnet Hideaway Suite

Half mile walk to Main St.! Bluebonnet Hideaway Suite is very comfortable and secluded. The suite is a newly remodeled spacious bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, rustic ceiling beams and lots of natural light. The updated bathroom includes a large glass shower and walk-in closet. The well-stocked coffee bar has a mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker and microwave. Outside is a private deck with hot tub. On-site parking. The suite is completely private, with it's own private entrance.

Bow-wood Suite (rustic but romantic and cozy 🥂)

We would love to have you stay in one of our three suites in this 1927 mail order Bungalow (we think it's a Sears one!) This Bungalow has been completely updated with all the 'modern' conveniences, but still with keeping that rustic/elegant look of the Hill Country. Front porch for 'relaxi'n/sipping', Landscaped yard, private parking lot, private patio with comfy seating, umbrellas and fans. So sorry, but we are not set up for children or pets in this Bungalow.

Our home is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country in the city of Kerrville, with Golf Course views, lots of amenities and beautiful sunsets. A place to relax, quiet neighborhood, enjoy the Guadalupe River, nearby Wineries, golfing, hunting, fishing, bike trails, horseback riding, canoe/kayak/tube rentals in the area. Less than 30 minutes away from Fredericksburg, and less than an hour away from San Antonio!

The Loft (Why stay in a hotel?)

This place is a labor of love that I enjoy sharing. Come enjoy. Rainwater collection, wildlife viewing and comfortable scenic areas to kick back with coffee in the mornings and a drink in the evenings. Very romantic setting. Small space in Loft of home (300 square ft.) but has a nice private deck and entrance. Efficiency style room. Queen size bed and stand up shower.

Canoe Barn on Barons Creek

This private room with bath and kitchen is attached to my house by a front wall, roof, and back deck, although there is no common wall. The deck looks over peaceful Barons Creek where deer and turkeys are often seen. It is 1 mile from the heart of downtown. This has never been an actual barn but is constructed like one.
