Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

This 1 bed queen 1 full bath with shower and tub. This cabin perfect getaway for a clean and cozy stay! Full kitchen, dining room and living room. Can sleep extra people on couch or queen air mattress for loft short ceiling good for kids. You will find cabin lodge decor welcoming to the mountains for your stay.

We are in easy traveling distance to whitewater rafting, kayaking both flat water and whitewater, fly fishing rivers, gem mining, zip lining, horseback riding, Deep Creek tubing, river tubing , The Appalachian Trail, hiking trails, waterfalls, Smoky Mountain Train excursions, Cherokee attractions/casino, Dollywood, Smoky Mountain National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, Elk viewings and Biltmore Estate in Asheville.

We love relaxing on the front porch, surrounded by nature and enjoying the sounds of the streams & views of the mountains. It is a peaceful cabin to relax & enjoy the cool breezes and scenery of the Smoky Mountains.

Welcome to The Lazy Bear! Listen to the sounds of the creek as you relax on the front porch of this 1964 cabin. Dog friendly fenced in front yard. $50 pet fee.
