Little Bear Studio/Den is part of a house located at Little Bear Farm, an 8 acre private property with a large yard and field for romping with a dog, sledding, or walking around our pond and fields. Conveniently located near Banner Elk and Valle Crucis, we are close to shopping or the slopes. We are adjacent to 450 acres of forest that is part of the Blue Ridge Conservancy, offering hiking trails to the public. WE HAVE RECENTLY MADE SOME POSITIVE UPGRADES NOT REFLECTED IN PHOTOS OR DESCRIPTION.

The mountain cabin is on 2.5 acres of private and quiet surroundings. This perfect location is just 10 minutes from both downtown Blowing Rock and Boone. The natural Stone fireplace adds a romantic atmosphere to this special rustic cabin. Lakes, rivers, creeks and hiking trails are nearby, as well as skiing, cave exploring and even rip- lines for a special thrill. Tweetsie Railroad is just 15 minutes away. We love the window-covered walls! It's like being in a tree house... on the ground:) Outside is an acre of flat wooded and grassy yard for exploring plus a fire pit and plenty of seating. We leave you all of the things you need for a great fire!! There is a chance that guests will be staying next door at the antique cabin while you occupy the tiny house. On the other side of the cabin, there is a family favorite guaranteed-catch trout farm - but, occasionally, you may smell the fish!
