There's an airy seaside feel inside and out, thanks to large windows, white decor and blue accents. A private dock on a tidal creek with a great view of a 150 year old lighthouse, a flower garden and an extensive lawn make this property ideal for friends, family and pets. This is the upper level of a two unit home so very safe for families. An open concept kitchen, dining and living rooms are all connected. A very large breakfast bar with eight bar stools and a view of the TV. Premium cable TV and great wifi. This listing is for the use of the entire top floor unit. We only ask that guest not try to access the first level living space. The front and rear yards are available anytime during your stay. There is a large rear lawn with scenic marsh views and views of the Ravenel cable-stay Bridge and Morris Island lighthouse. The large front deck has limited views of the ocean and the breaking surf can be heard throughout the home. I'm available by text most anytime. If you should need anything please don't hesitate to notify me. I'd be glad to recommend restaurants, outings, shopping, etc. Jean and I want to make your vacation most enjoyable. John Across from the beach, on a scenic marsh with expansive river and lighthouse views. Near the “washout” an area for the best surfing in SC, Morris Island where the Civil War Battle of Battery Wagner was fought and a bird sanctuary for the bird watcher Uber and Lyft for trips into the city of Charleston. There is no public bus service on the island. Traffic getting on the island can be heavy on the weekends so do your grocery shopping during the week or on your way in. There is a small market on the island but very limited and expensive.

The Cozy Island Home sits on a half acre in a quiet neighborhood between historic downtown (1 mile to downtown connector bridge), and Folly Beach ( 3 miles to Folly Beach). There's no hotels on James Island which is the only connection to the beach. So, if you're looking to get close to Folly Beach, without the noise or paying hundreds of dollars per night, we'd be honored to host you. Our home is safe, quiet, cozy and deeply grounding. We pride ourselves on calming energy ready to welcome you.

Location, location, location. Literally steps to the sand from this relaxing beach abode! Just roll out of bed and walk through the tree lined tunnel straight to the boardwalk of your own fairly private beach! Bring your dogs and let them roam the huge fenced in backyard lined with live oaks and a fire pit for the family to unite. A quieter part of Folly where the surfers like to shred but still only a short while to the bars of Folly and just 15 minutes from downtown. You will love this place!!
