This recently renovated Welsh cottage with original features, modern appliances and cosy woodburner is situated above the village of Garndolbenmaen, near Porthmadog. This is a perfect, secluded, romantic retreat for two situated along a quiet lane with stunning panoramic westerly views over Cardigan Bay and the Llyn peninsula. The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

Breath taking walks can be accessed from the doorstep which can take you along the beautiful coastal path and/or venture through farmland and take in the fresh air.

Hiking trails abound with Harlech beach, town and castle a walk away. The area has plenty to offer; steam railways, Portmeirion, sandy beaches, ZipWorld and Mt Snowdon are just a car ride away. Alternatively enjoy the Nook’s garden with BBQ/fire-pit and perhaps a game on its unique pétanque pitch or retro games machine.

Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. This stylish accommodation is perfect for exploring Snowdonia. Located near the picturesque Portmeirion Italian village, the Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Railway, and the Coastal Path, it offers a range of walking trails, from leisurely strolls to challenging hikes. We are also close to the harbour town of Porthmadog. The owner is knowledgeable about the area and can recommend places to visit, including excellent local restaurants and pubs, all accessible by bus and train.
