Our Shepherds Hut newly built in 2021 sleeps 2 people and nestles nicely into it's own private space just next to the house, which is in a gorgeous rural location in the heart of Snowdonia national park. This hut has electricity, central heating, and hot water making it a cosy and warm place to stay all year round. There is an outdoor firepit/BBQ with table and bench to sit and eat, where you can take in the beautiful view. It's a perfect location for keen walkers and popular area for cyclist's.

Shepherds Hut View

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

'The Nook' stone cottage in peaceful surroundings

The Nook’ is a self contained 2 bedroom cottage annex, inspired by its medieval inglenook fireplace. It is situated at the end of a long drive in a peaceful rural location. Hiking trails abound with Harlech beach, town and castle a walk away. The area has plenty to offer; steam railways, Portmeirion, sandy beaches, ZipWorld and Mt Snowdon are just a car ride away. Alternatively enjoy the Nook’s garden with BBQ/fire-pit and perhaps a game on its unique pétanque pitch or retro games machine.

Built in 1819 the Georgian House provides a separate top floor apartment, with private entrance and door, accessed through the main building & staircase. Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

Delightful 2 bedroom log cabin Sleeps 4

Caban y Carneddau is a cosy log cabin located at the foot of the Carneddau mountains with stunning scenery of the Menai Strait and the Isle of Anglesey. The Caban is only a stone's throw away from the famous Slate Trail and Penrhyn Castle, steeped in its links to the Bethesda mining history can be seen clearly from the decking area. Attractions close by includes Zip World and Snowdonia Mountain walks.
