Guests enjoy the exclusive and private use of the cottage and 8 acre property on Harstine Island. Harstine Isl. State Park and Jarrell Cove State Park are a short drive away w/ access to Puget Sound. A trail meanders through the woods in the back half of the property, behind a small orchard. Relax and warm up in the hot tub under a canopy of trees. We have very fast high speed wifi internet, great for tv/movie streaming/working remotely. We are about 1 hr 45 min drive from World Cup in Seattle.

Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Perched over Whitman Lake, escape with a cold beverage on your large deck that makes you feel "within the trees." Walk down the railroad tie stairs and through our "naturally" landscaped yard to find your private dock with a kayak that is free for guests. Whitman Lake is just ~45 min south of Tacoma and ~45 min north of MRNP... a perfect home base for your adventures.
