Full of unexpected details, including an outside labyrinth, The Stable is a comfortable sanctuary for all who want to settle in and smile.

Please note this rental lives in owner's back yard, accessible by driveway. We've built this place so that you can optimize your stay. Cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. Second floor of recently-built garage apartment in a charming, peaceful Durham neighborhood. Twenty minutes to RDU Airport, five minutes to Duke's East Campus and ten minutes to West Campus, we are an easy walk to a range of locally-owned restaurants. Lovely, light-filled apartment has a bedroom, full kitchen and living area, bathroom, private entrance, and patio with seating. Occasionally, we may have first-floor space available at extra cost. Less than 1 mile to the Falls Lake Boat ramp located on HWY 50 just across from the Mountain to Sea Trail. Well behaved dogs welcome and must be attended in/outdoors.

Stay on a working fiber/lavender farm convenient to the Raleigh/Durham area - 20 minutes from Interstate 85. Interact with our alpacas, sheep, llamas, Angora goats, donkeys, & more. Shop our farm store, stroll the property, smell the lavender. Tours are free for registered guests. Friends may join the tour for a fee. Use of the pool is for registered guests only. Twenty stairs lead up to the 700 sq ft over-the-garage apartment with private entrance. Includes a king bed & pullout couch.

This 1901 bungalow still maintains much of its historic charm, though it is newly renovated and stylishly furnished for the utmost comfort and enjoyment during your stay. **We charge a separate $30 per pet/per night fee AFTER you book.

Screened porches, a spacious open concept living room/kitchen area, with two adorable bedrooms.

Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.
