A light airy apartment close to the city with free public transport into Adelaide central shopping area. Walking distance to local supermarket, and two great pubs. Plenty of eateries in the neighbourhood. Own kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge. Set on the second floor over looking a lush garden, through large windows. Aircon. and fans in all rooms.
The space is an open plan kitchen, living and dining with a separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is access through a private staircase.
Thebarton is a mixture of industrial and housing ...including old workers cottages. It is a small suburb just a 2 min drive to the city. Thebarton has 3 local pubs, a supermarket, shopping centre and a bar at the end of the street.

  • Lynn’s place is bright and airy with all the basics and is close to public transport and the CBD. Lynn was easy to communicate with. Things to be aware of - in flight path, stairs, no washing machine, no stove or dining table. There is a microwave and two stools and a bench. It was great to have as a base near the city to take advantage of the festival and fringe activities.

Jarmer's kitchen, a cafe which is only a 200 meters up the road, is the perfect spot for breakfast. Plant 4 is a new shopping complex with a supermarket and cafes open 7 days per week.

Has an undercover parking, instructions to park were given but the remote to garage was not in the lockbox, called up customer service and they gave me directions to a spare key.

  • Stylish and modern appartment. Perfect for a family to stay. Quick responses from host. Thoughtful guidance of how to get the key and parking, however, the direction is a bit confusing as you will get the key from another block while entering the parking lot in another block. It would be much easier if pictures and directions to the parking lot are shown as detailed as how to get the key. Overall this is a nice place to stay. I strongly reccommend for people who want to enjoy Adelaide at a modern flat not too far from downtowns.

    The entire space is all yours and with the extraordinary tall ceilings it will feel like you are in a Penthouse. Great location as it is walking distance to the Entertainment Centre and a FREE tram ride to Adelaide oval where you can watch the football. Our apartment does have stairs so please keep this in mind when you are booking. With 2 bathrooms each has its own toilet so you will not feel cramped like hotel rooms.
    Loose Caboose coffee shop is walking distance. The Gov on Port Road ( Walking distance) is a local pub with live music. Jarmers restaurant is a great spot for coffee, lunch or dinner. There is a local IGA supermarket just around the corner and whilst you are there you should visit Plant 4 which includes market on the weekend. If you like to visit Kangaroo Island ask and we can help with the arrangements.

  • Nick was a great host and we really enjoyed staying in Bowden! Nick’s instructions and communication before and during our stay was amazing. His place is as described and a great apartment space - clean, equipped and comfortable. The area is up and coming and we enjoyed a few meals at Jarmer’s restaurant and shopping at Plant 4 - both only a few mins walk away. Plant 4 has a water park/fountain that our 3 year old loved and was great in the heat. There is also a great park DVD playground across the road from the apartment which was handy. The free tram into the city is also super close. I’d definitely recommend Nick’s place!

    Our home is perfect for students, individuals and couples and is conveniently located near the free City Tram, connecting to the CBD and other popular tourist destinations and locations. We are located on the city fringe, tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Our home is close to many places of interest including the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, The Gov, The Brompton Hotel and just a short 8-minute walk from Plant4Bowden.
    Enjoy your own space which comes with a queen-sized bed, built-in floor to ceiling wardrobes (with hangers), and your own en-suite bathroom containing a shower, sink, and toilet. Your room also lets in plenty of natural light. A spare fridge for your personal use is also located in the laundry area if needed. Feel free to use our kitchen, large dining, living area and courtyard or relax in your room with your own TV connected to Free-to-air, YouTube or Netflix. An additional toilet is also located downstairs for convenience.
    We love where our home is located...we're close to The Entertainment Centre, Plant4Bowden, The Brompton, The Loose Caboose, The Gov and other cafés and restaurants - they are all within walking distance. Local nearby attractions include the Adelaide Oval, Coopers Stadium, Adelaide Festival & Convention Centre, Art Gallery & Museum, Botanic Gardens and various locations throughout the city. The heritage-listed Brompton Hotel is also located just around the corner. We are also just 2km from North Adelaide for a huge selection of restaurants and café’s and a short distance from the beautiful Bonython Parklands. Glenelg Beach is also close by.

Kane and Kim struck the perfect balance between being welcoming and helpful, while giving me enough space to relax and unwind. They both are pretty down to earth, environment conscious and always up to help you out with any queries you might have. About 8 mins walk to the Entertainment center and you can hop onto the free tram to the city, which is of great convenience. Uber eats is an added plus for the location. I've enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it!

    The large spacious townhouse is great for holiday or business trips for upto 5 people, (one night stays for $250 approval required, except weekends). The townhouse is quiet, 4 car parking and safe, its greatest asset is its location, which is right next to Bowden, search "lifemoreinteresting" and you'll see this is where you should stay. Bowden is a vibrant community, close to many amenities. The townhouse is close to Adelaide CBD, the new Royal Adelaide hospital, Entertainment centre and more.
    The townhouse has recently been renovated and can comfortably accommodate 5 guests. The surrounding highlights are; less than a kilometer from the Bowden town square which has tri-weekly markets, IGA supermarket, cafes and so much more. Only 5 kms from the city you can cycle (15mins), walk (50mins) through beautiful parklands, even take the car sharing service "Goget" Car sharing service. Less than 2 kms are North Adelaide, Entertainment Centre, Adelaide oval and Royal Adelaide Hospital are even closer. You can the tram right into the heart of Adelaide CBD and take it all the way to beautiful Glenelg the premier beachside suburb in Adelaide.
    In terms of the neighbourhood, Brompton itself has a lot of history and but is also undergoing large scale development. The next suburb toawrds the city is Bowden which is quite a historic inner city suburb also undergoing massive development, which has made Bowden is the most thriving and developing suburb in Adelaide, please search "lifemoreinteresting". You'll love the area and see how much is going on and why it is the best inner city suburb to stay in Adelaide all the access of CBD hotels but with the comforts of a townhouse and cheaper.

    My place is perfect for all individuals and couples. Free tram to city a 7-minute walk away. Local cafes, restaurants and the new and popular Plant4 Bowden (live music, markets, stalls, fresh produce) within walking distance. Great local pub The Brompton on the same street. Adelaide Oval is a beautiful 45min walk along the River Torrens or a short tram ride. On the doorstep to the northern highway, for day/weekend trips to Clare & Barossa Valley wine regions.
    Open natural light filled space that is great to both relax and entertain in. Beautiful big outdoor entertaining area where you can cook a bbq, watch TV and relax out there at night as well. Large upstairs bathroom with spa bath. Two large bedrooms, and a study as well with desk and couch to read on. Perfect for work/business trips too.
    A diverse social area with a great mix of people. Lively and an upcoming area, there are plenty of areas to explore by foot such as the adjacent suburb Bowden, which includes the new Plant4 markets/cafes, in addition to other local cafes and pubs within a 15-minute walk.

  • I'm a comedian who spent a month living here. As with all my reviews, there's the place, the hosts and the location. The Place: Big room, big double comfy bed, air con, wifi, what more could you want? The kitchen had everything you would want. The was even a BBQ to avail of. The place was immaculate. Open spacious plan with an outdoor seating area if you wanted to relax in the sun. The Host. Simon was very considerate host, although my month was spent mainly with Emma, his girlfriend. She was a lovely woman. Very laid back, and friendly. Because I worked during the evening, I had the house to myself during the day to do my cooking, cleaning, etc. The Location. The house is 5 min walk from Brompton train station and more importantly a free tram. There is a free tram that leaves every 10 mins into the CBD, taking about 20 mins. I used it everyday, in and out. There are quite a few restaurants nearby, not sure about shops as I'd buy food in the CBD nd bring it home on the tram. Overall, a great stay, great room, great location and great hosts.

    Our renovated circa 1910 cottage is located in historic Thebarton, 450m from FREE tram and only 2 stops to the city. Walking distance to beautiful Bonython Park with its fabulous playground and kiosk, the iconic Thebarton Theatre, Entertainment Centre and numerous cafes, pubs and bars tucked away for you to discover and explore! Loaded with character, charm and modern amenities.
    Bonython Cottage consists of two generous sized bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and bedroom 2 is configurable as a king size bed or as two long singles. All beds have luxurious linens. The kitchen has been fully renovated with quality appliances. Eat-in kitchen, big fridge, Nespresso machine, gas top cooker and electronic oven, crockery and cookware, all which make cooking a pleasure. The rebuilt bathroom includes a generous bath to relax and unwind. The cottage is equipped with laundry facilities and a modest sitting room which has a fold out futon bed. Free Wi-Fi is available for guests. Enjoy the cottage garden, a space which continues to evolve. Outdoor seating makes this the perfect place to start or finish your day. The cottage is extremely clean, inviting and cosy. Tastefully decorated. You will not want to leave Bonython Cottage.
    While Adelaide with all its bars, restaurants and entertainment is close by, Bonython Cottage is within walking distance to several great venues including The Wheatsheaf Hotel, well regarded for their enormous selection of local and international craft beers, whisky and live music; The Deli café and bar, known for its great food and relaxed atmosphere; Mr Sunshines and The Loose Caboose, two local favorites for breaky and lunch serving ethically sourced and prepared foods.   • Cutest cottage! Bonython Cottage is spotlessly clean..every thing you could possibly need is available. We loved it's closeness to North Adelaide. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Lovely attention to detail. I can't recommend highly enough. We had a lovely area in the backyard to entertain our Adelaide family. It was home away from home. Sharon is a a great communicator, a kind and considerate host and quick to respond to any need.

The property is spacious enough for 3-4 people, and conveniently located to the various cafes, restaurants and pubs within the area. Also very close to the city.  The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and very clean.     My place is close to public transport (Train, Bus, Tram), the city centre (less than 3KMs to the CBD and walking distance to Adelaide Entertainment Centre). You’ll love my place because it is alarm activated, air-conditioned, all furniture/appliances are reasonably new, fully equipped with basic necessities (inc 4G Wireless for fast internet) and a large secured carport. The bedroom windows are double/triple glazed for sound proofing. This ensure you have a comfortable/quiet environment to rest.

  • This is a great 2 bedroom townhouse with plenty of living space downstairs. It is well kept and very clean. The amenities are of a high quality and the secure parking is an added bonus. It is less than 1km walk to the Entertainment Centre so it is easy to get on the tram to the CBD or on to Glenelg.

    Welcome to the Bowden Lego House! Enjoy one of the oldest cottages in this busy new area while being just steps away from the free tram, coffee shops, the Entertainment Centre and a quick drive to the airport. Enjoy the personal touches that bring this space to life while you are cooking up a storm in the full kitchen, relaxing on the deck or lounging in the bubble bath! This house is perfect for work or pleasure and we love to welcome little travellers with cots, highchairs and more.
    The Bowden Lego House is a heritage listed cottage that was typical of the 1890’s but are now hard to find! It has been recently renovated and has a new kitchen, bathroom and flooring throughout. Out the back you will find a gorgeous private deck with full sized dining table, vegetable garden and sandpit for the little ones and not so little ones to enjoy! The free tram to the city is only a 5 minute walk away or one train stop to the CBD. There is a fabulous little park at the end of the street which is great for a bbq or picnic and the bustling markets of Plant 4 are only a stones throw away. You can skip the taxi lines and walk home after seeing a show at The Entertainment Centre or The Gov. The house is well equipped for business, holiday and family travel. It has been baby proofed and little travellers are very welcome. The airport is only 6.4km away so it is a perfect spot for both short visits and longer stays. Wifi, Netflix and a coffee machine are all included.
    Bowden is an old industrial area with a funky new heart. We are located on a very quiet street with only a handful of houses that will likely be developed in the coming years. Take a walk around Bowden and admire the funky street art or have a drink at one of the many cafes, markets or pubs. There is a lovely park at the end of the street and many little parks nearby (some with water play). There is a local shop within walking distance.
  • Georgia is Very hospitable, she gave us helpful instructions of how to use the house. When we met problem, she resolved it quickly. The house has built more than 100 years. Amazing, but the interior is relatively new and it has some special feature like some LEGO decoration in the glass cupboard. Love it, will recommend it to my friends.

  • I stayed at Teresa’s place in Bowden with my partner and two small children (aged 2.5y and 4m) for 10 days at the start of summer. We had a great time! The location was very convenient (we had a rented car, but there was also public transport nearby). There were parks and great places to eat and an IGA within 5-10 minutes walk. There was even a small green space across the road, which my older child loved. The area was funky/happening, but still peaceful, ie no traffic noise. No issues with parking. The home was very comfortable and well equipped for a holiday. We cooked several meals for ourselves and had all the things we needed. There was a bath for the kids, washing machine and wifi. The beds were very comfortable. Teresa arranged a portacot for the baby and there were enough rooms for us to manage the sleep requirements that go with having small kids. The garden was a beautiful little oasis. Loved it!! Best of all, Teresa and her family were very welcoming and left some toys out for my older son to play with during our stay. He had an absolute ball!! Highly recommend this accommodation and thanks Teresa and Will for s great holiday.

There were a few issues with communication that meant the house was t quite ready when we arrived but only because Kash was going to a lot of trouble to make it ready for us. We stayed for nearly a month and I think you definitely need a car for this area if you are staying a while as there are no shops in walking distance and although there are 3 great cafes in walking distance they are not always open. We had a few issues during the stay (air conditioner stopped working, no vacuum cleaner etc) and Kashea's mother wasn't always the easiest to deal with but the issues were all resolved after some back and forth... I'd recommend this house to young couples and small families with a car!

    My place is perfect for individuals and couples. Main bedroom with bathroom adjacent to your room. Free tram to city 7-minute walk away. Local cafes, restaurants and the new and popular Plant4 Bowden (live music, markets, fresh produce) walking distance. Great local pub The Brompton on the same street. Adelaide Oval is a beautiful 45min walk along the River Torrens or a short tram ride. On the doorstep to the northern highway, for day/weekend trips to Clare & Barossa Valley wine regions.
    Open natural light filled space that is great to both relax and entertain in. Beautiful big outdoor entertaining area where you can cook a bbq, watch TV and relax out there at night as well. Large upstairs main bedroom & bathroom with spa bath. A study as well with desk and couch to read on. Perfect for work/business trips too.
    A diverse social area with a great mix of people. Lively and an upcoming area, there are plenty of areas to explore by foot such as the adjacent suburb Bowden, which includes the new Plant4 markets/cafes, in addition to other local cafes and pubs within a 15-minute walk.

  • The sunshine in the room is so nice, I can literally sit beside the bed for hours. Yet the location is so good that it’s only 5 mins walk to the free tram which can bring you to the city.
