La Torre ist einer von zwei antiken Wachtürmen im wunderschönen Ort Marciana Marina. Der Turm wurde schon auf Karten des 16. Jahrhunderts als Torre di Poggio vermerkt und im 18. Jahrhundert als Zollstelle fuer die Handelsware von See umfunktioniert. Im Jahr 2023 wurde der Turm von einer Interior -Designerin umgebaut. Das Casa del Capitano liegt auf dem Gipfel des Monte Grosso im Nationalpark des toskanischen Archipels. Die Lage ist einmalig auf der Insel, auf 350m über dem Meer und von hier aus hat man einen fantastischen Ausblick auf die Stadt Portoferraio, Piombino, Cavo, Korsika, Capraia und Gorgona. Das Haus wurde in einem mehrjährigen Projekt restauriert und auf Autarkie und Ökologie ausgerichtet. Hier wird nur die Energie der Sonne genutzt, ohne auf Luxus verzichten zu müssen.

Chiesino Dei Vaioni

Antica chiesa sconsacrata risalente ai primi del 900, originariamente costruita come cappella privata di Villa Philipson. Chiesino Dei Vaioni ha una struttura a loft con due camere matrimoniali su due soppalchi distinti. All’esterno cucina con forno a legna, giardini privato con viale alberato ed oliveto. I cancelli e le scale interne furono costruiti dalla Antica Fonderia Michelucci. Chiesino Dei Vaioni è immerso nella campagna toscana a pochi minuti dalla città.
