The beach is between 25 to 30 miles away and there are numerous beaches within that radius, including Hilton Head and Hunting Island. Of course, the cottage is right in front of a beautiful and peaceful coastal marsh. We’re also not far from Parris Island if it’s time to celebrate your special Marine! The Cottage at Burroughs has recently been completely renovated. A short walk or bike ride to downtown Beaufort restaurants and shopping, it is also just steps away from the Spanish Moss Trail and a short drive to Parris Island. The Cottage has space to park your boat trailer and is one mile from the Downtown Marina and boat landing. A scenic drive through our barrier islands will take you to the beautiful beaches and trails at Hunting Island State Park - complimentary guest pass provided.

Freeman Farm “Love Shack” Bunkhouse for 5 or 1.

The "Love Shack" is in Statesboro, Georgia, home of the Georgia Southern Eagles and is the guests Bunkhouse on Freeman Farm. Freeman Farm is a 300-acre weekend retreat located between a half mile stretch of the Ogeechee River and Pondgeechee Pond, a 32-acre lake. The newly renovated "Love Shack" while rustic still has the comforts of home; with a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of places to sit and relax, lots of outdoor space to roam, soft beds, and we even have wifi.
