Being at the center of the BEST town on the peninsula was amazing and we can't wait to share that experience with our guests. We have fully renovated our family’s cottage to make it perfect for a group of friends or family. We look forward to being the home base for your ideal Door County vacation! This light and airy cottage is on the water with rock beach, beautiful sunrises, great room with beam ceilings & wood burning fireplace, kitchen ready for cooking and baking. A view of Lake Michigan from nearly every room. Perfect location for families or couples vacation. This cottage is tucked away on a wooded lot with an open backyard to enjoy sunshine and shoreline, or take a quick 5 minute drive to downtown Sister Bay.

Located just minutes from downtown Ellison Bay, this eclectic cottage offers convenience to attractions and dining, while providing a private sanctuary-like experience! The home boasts two (2) master suites- each with private bath, as well as studio above garage (3 bedrooms total). The entire home is furnished with all of the items needed for a true Door County vacation: Firepit/place, bbq, outdoor shower, bocce court, bicycles, and stand up paddle boards! New hot tub! Walk right out onto your own private patio which connects to our spacious yard. Full kitchen w/ stove (small oven/stove), fridge, microwave, toaster, Keurig, cookware, dishes, glassware & dishwasher.

Our cottage is situated on the “quiet side” of Door County on the meandering Glidden drive along the Lake Michigan shoreline. The cottage is perched upon a small hill and surrounded by pine trees in a relaxed country setting. Guests have dedicated access to Lake Michigan right across the street. The sand beach provides for an excellent location for kayaking, sunbathing, swimming, and walks. Glidden Cottage is only five miles from Sturgeon Bay.

The property backs onto 1000 acre nature preserve with miles of trails to explore. We designed the space with all natural materials, and high-end amenities.
