We offer a comfortable king size bed and a full size futon, if needed. The private guest entry has steps with an optional ramp entry if mobility issues are a concern. Guests have use of designated parking and an outdoor patio area with a propane grill. Located in a quiet, country setting minutes from downtown Meadville and Allegheny College.

A quiet, old farmhouse with plenty of space for outdoor activities. Perfect for hunters and fishermen visiting the area or a place to stop that is just 7 minutes from the interstate. We kept the nostalgic style of your grandparents (or parents!) with a few updates for comfort. This is a very simple country house, if you are looking for a hotel stay, this is not it. This house is old and the layout is not modern, and it is not fully updated, so please keep this in mind as you decide to book.

Sweet Solitude

Visit this tiny rural cabin. Now is prime birdwatching season! Bring binoculars. Excellent neighbors, but none in sight. 🙂 Sometimes we just want to be alone. Sweet Solitude is a private place to focus on what's really most important, especially for couples. Our cabin locally sourced. The timbers were sawed at a local hemlock mill. The exterior is made of boards we had milled from old pines along US Hwy 322. Even the stones we laid for the fireplace once splashed in a local creek.

Create new memories, watch your kids play, enjoy a beautiful Erie sunset and gather around a crackling bonfire, share stories and laughter under the starlit sky.
