Enjoy a relaxing stay in our cozy apt. located In the lower level of our home on beautiful Lake Thomas in the village of Fall River, N.S.. Located close to the Trans-Canada hwy, we’re a 12-15 min. drive from the Halifax airport and 20-25 minute drive to downtown Halifax. It's a great location as a base for daily vacation adventures, such as hiking trails, day trips to Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, local beaches, etc. Wherever your adventures may take you, feel right at home at the end of your day!

Earth & Aircrete Dome Home

Creative, unique, cozy and inspiring. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, stay warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove and has an outdoor composting toilet. We also offer professional massage / reiki treatments as well as fresh vegetables and free range eggs.

Waterfront Apartment in Beautiful Fall River

Bright apartment located downstairs of our home. Peaceful waterfront in Fall River on the Shubie Canal. Lots of space in this private lot but yet 20minutes from the city. Enjoy the view, relax with a book or Dip in the pool if it's a hot day. Walk to local eatery for lunch or dinner. Personal favourite is Fourth Lock Skate park /Rec Center 2 min drive. Close to Sobeys & NSLC. 12 mins from the airport Covid Clean We have a friendly NS Duck toller Gracie who may greet you and say hello!

Welcome to our lakefront cottage in Mount Uniacke—just minutes from shops, restaurants, and trails. Nestled on beautiful Pentz Lake, enjoy a spacious backyard with a swimmable dock, kayaks, hot tub, and outdoor seating. A BBQ is available May through October. Inside, unwind in a modern open-concept living space with a large TV, dining area, and electric fireplace. Upstairs, you’ll find three queen bedrooms, a full bath, plus a second full bathroom and laundry on the main level.

Welcome to lake country, a true place to unwind situated just 25 minutes from Halifax, 25 minutes from the Annapolis Valley, and 20 minutes from Ski Martock. In the summer months, experience loon calls and endless days on the warm-water lake. In autumn, the sunsets from your backyard will take your breath away. In winter, the sun may set earlier but that’s when stars come alive. (Is that Mars?) In spring, well, the landscaped perennial garden will speak for itself.

Loon's Call Lake House offers waterside relaxation

Wake up at the lake house and step out with your coffee onto the expansive deck overlooking the water. Plan your day. Are you going to explore the area, visit wineries and museums or relax on the lakeside hammock and jump into the water to cool off. Paddle up the lake to the sand beach and then return later for a moonlight bonfire. Relax and enjoy it all.
