A 2 mile walk to Jane Austen's house in Chawton and close to Grange Opera, Gilbert White Museum in Selborne, NT Hinton Ampner, and market towns of Farnham, Alresford, Petersfield and Winchester. There is wonderful walking, and easy access to the coast, and for children is close to the Watercress Train line.

It situated in the popular Surrey Hills an area of outstanding beauty surrounded by many local award winning pubs and to numerous picturesque country walks right outside the barn doors. Our beautiful converted Granary is just across the courtyard from our farm house and is totally self contained. It is a huge open plan room with exposed beams, wooden floor, rugs, an extremely comfortable sofa bed, a mezzanine with two single mattresses suitable for agile extra guests, a kitchenette and a lovely shower room. There is an enormous bookcase which guests are welcome to borrow from during their stay and a equally large flat screen TV with Sky, Netflix etc

Oakwoods, much built in Medieval times, has been lovingly restored by "Grand Designer (Ch 4)" - Monty. Great garden swing. There is a cinema room, minstrels gallery, grand piano, walk-on glass well, open fires, warm brickwork, low beams & panoramic views. Board games, darts and ping pong, plus yoga instructor (by appointment). All around are fields & forests, magical walks and wildlife. Extra guests possible, please ask. Car charging at 3kw is possible at cost.

The Cowshed is within walking distance of the centre of Midhurst. Midhurst lies in the heart of the South Downs National Park and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and a wealth of walking opportunities. Enjoy walking or mountain-biking on the South Downs Way (local bike hire available), explore the beautiful National Trust gardens at Woolbeding, Polo at Cowdray Park or the fantastic sandy beach at West Wittering. Goodwood is a short drive away.
