Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

선물같은 하루 (숲에서 맞이하는, 민주지산)

‘선물같은 하루＇는 충북 영동군 민주지산의 도마령 기슭(해발 700m) 숲 속에 위치한 체험형 숙소입니다. 노부모님을 위해 지은 목조주택(달밭집, 2005년)과 가족들이 직접 지은 흙집(소영당, 2006년)을 리모델링(2020년)하여 집 전체를 오롯이 한 팀의 손님들만 머물다 가시도록 준비했습니다. 최근에는 울숲의 신갈나무 6~7미터 위에 트리하우스(울숲집, 2024년)를 짓고 이 또한 무료로 체험할 수 있게 했습니다. 체험은 전통문화체험과 생태체험을 유료 및 무료 체험으로 나누어 다양하게 제공하고 있습니다. 흙집은 우리네 선조들의 산골 너와집처럼 달밭 주변에서 얻은 나무와 흙과 돌로 지었습니다. 아궁이에 불을 지피는 체험을 할 수 있고 코는 시원하고 등은 따뜻한 전통가옥의 지혜를 느껴보실 수 있습니다. 흙집 방문 상인방에는 '선물같은 하루'라는 글귀가 새겨져 있습니다. 이곳을 찾는 모든 분들께 '선물같은 하루'라는 소박한 선물을 드리도록 노력하겠습니다.

江戸から続く、慎ましくも豊かな里山暮らし！

囲炉裏を囲んで仲間とゆっくり過ごせます。風や空模様に季節を感じながら、五右衛門風呂やかまど、昔ながらのスローライフが楽しめます(カセットコンロ、IHヒーター、シャワーあります)。薪ストーブクッキング、屋外でのBBQも出来ます。 　出雲市駅から自動車で10分。出雲大社へは２5分。近くに温泉もあります。20畳の和室がプライベートな寝室で、キッチンとトイレは共有です。蔵に設計事務所を併設していて平日は8時30から18時まで仕事をしています。眺めの良い茅葺の小間もお使い頂けます。 　エアコンもありますが夏は縁側を開け放って蚊帳を掛けると、夏の夜風が快眠を誘います。春から秋は蛙やヒグラシ、鈴虫などの懐かしい声が枕元に届きます。 　炭火や火起こしに不慣れな方はタイミングが合えばお手伝いします。薪は無料、囲炉裏を使う場合はBBQ炭を持参してください。 スーパーマーケットまで1､6キロ、出雲市駅まで5キロです。 田圃道、川土手などのを早朝にウォーキング，ジョギングすると気持ちいいです。 ペットは土間でお願いしています。7，8月は庭のブルベリーをどうぞ。

2024年7月にデザイナーによるリフォームをした、山中湖から徒歩11分の別荘地にある 「プライベートリゾート 富士」 という一日一組限定の宿です。 延床面積115㎡、3LDK のログハウスを基調とした和モダンデザイン一軒家で、 ２階にあがると、リビングの窓から大きな富士山を望むことができ、富士山をバックに大きなバルコニーでBBQをしたり、木々に囲まれたバレルサウナを満喫した後には、そのまま外の休憩スペースで森林浴をしたりと、していただけます。庭には、大きな焚き火台があり、火を囲んで語らうこともできます。また、庭には高めの柵を設置しているため、愛犬を連れてきても逃げてしまう心配はございません。 部屋には90インチの大型スクリーンがあり、Prime Video、Youtube などが楽しめます。夜には、条件が良ければ満天の星空も見ることができます。
