Otane Cottage is at Smaills Beach with access to the Otago Peninsula and wildlife while only ten minutes from the city centre. The cottage has a stunning view and rural feel. It's close to local surf spots and if you are lucky you may get to see the southern lights (Aurora australis). Our proximity to the beach also means close encounters with the endangered NZ sealion (Pakake). In spring, its not uncommon for this majestic creature to pay a visit to the cottage. A five minute almost flat walk to Roslyn village and very short drive down the hill to the city, hospitals, university, golf course and beyond. Oh, and it has all just been beautifully renovated.
