The Glass Room and Wooden Caravan are perfect for people who love wilderness, and nature. It's for adventurous souls, who thrive on wide open spaces, warmth and a simpler way of life. There are views that will take your breath away, rocks to scramble over and lovely long walks and horse riding to be enjoyed. As with other tracts of wild Africa, we do have some dangerous animals around, including elephant, the odd lion, leopard and venomous snake, although it is not often that we see the latter.

Perfect launching pad for excursions into Ol Pejeta Conservancy (15 min), Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (45 min), and Mt. Kenya National Park (30 min). The house can sleep up to 5 and has a king size bed in each bedroom and 2 sleeper sofas.

The cottage is situated on a farm in Laikipia, 32km from Nanyuki. It is near Borana and Ngare Ndare with stunning panoramic views of Mt. Kenya. It has large terraces providing comfy outdoor lounge areas. The farm is rich in bird species. Perfect getaway to relax in a beautiful landscape with a wild feel. It is a sustainable home designed to minimize your footprint on the environment with solar panels and rain water collection. Our cottage won the 2023 Airbnb Africa Award for Sustainability.

Kivuko | Laikipia Home for Families & Retreats

Kivuko is a private home in Laikipia, best suited for families, small gatherings and quiet time on the land. Days unfold slowly — mornings with tea and open sky, afternoons between the house and rocks and evenings around the fire. Located about one hour north of Nanyuki, Kivuko borders Ol Jogi Conservancy and is 30 minutes from the Wildlife Rescue Center. Wildlife is often seen from the verandah. Guests come from across Kenya and beyond, drawn by the space, the pace and a slower rhythm.

The Wagons, Loltunda Farm, Chumvi Borana Laikipia

The Wagons of Loltunda are made up of three ox cart wagons beautifully finished with an African Gypsy feel. Two bedroom wagons called love and Freedom sit at right angles with views out to the loldaiga hills and Borana. There’s an open plan raised wooden deck connecting the wagons with warm fireplace, dining and lounge area. To the right is a kitchen made of an old horse box. All wagons set are under a roof for protection. Outside is a open air bathroom. The spare room is a tree house.
