Take a long morning walk with the dog or cycle along the nature reserve that’s through your garden gate, or take the short 20 minute drive to the seaside town of Aberystwyth to enjoy the shops, restaurants and cafes. Shop and pub in the village, and although the hut is set on a working farm, there’s plenty of peace and quiet and privacy at our cozy hut.

Nannerth Ganol, artists retreat cottage

Nannerth Ganol is an old 16th Century farm. On our site we have The Cottage, main Longhouse with large garden and workspace for creatives. Our accommodation is busy with cyclists, walkers and music and media workers. Head into the Elan Valley and surrounding area directly from our location. It hosts people from the music industry who have come here to write/record . We are very isolated , so perfect if you want to get away from everything. You can relax/create or go explore. I also do food.

Relax and unwind in this beautiful converted 1880s school. Plenty of original school features are still on display. Situated 15mins drive from the royal Welsh show ground in Builth, 15mins from Rhayader and the Elan Valley, 15mins from Spa town Llandrindod wells, just over an hour to Aberystwyth and west coast beaches, it is the ideal location! The house sits on the edge of a forestry leading up a hill with stunning views and lots of dog friendly walks/bike rides. Ideal for fishing in the Wye!

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. A cheerfully colourful flat right on the promenade. It offers a quiet bedroom and a large open-plan living-dining-kitchen room with sea views. There you will find a well-equipped kitchen, as well as a dining table, a sofabed and a TV, books and games. The flat has a personal atmosphere in which you can relax well. As the accommodation is very well equipped it is also suitable for longer stays. I happily welcome guests of all faiths, genders, sexual orientations and ethnicities.
