Garvin Loft - private, self-contained unit

Your own piece of paradise. This fully detached, open concept, self catered suite offers a fully equipped kitchen, eating bar, bathroom with shower and queen size bed. Our guests will enjoy the magnificent sunrises and as the day ends, you can barbecue while watching the sunset light touch the Coastal Mountains. Close to all amenities including a short walk to the beach. Gentle ocean breezes and the utmost in privacy is waiting for you. The perfect place to relax or explore the Comox Valley.

The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Cedar Cottage near the Sea

Our cottage is a cozy little "get away" for couples or a single person, situated on .6 acres of park like setting , quiet and restful, near host's home and across from the beach a few minutes walk away. Close by: Kingfisher Resort and Spa is a 5 minute drive away for pampering yourself with a good meal or spa treatments. Mt Washington Alpine Resort is 45 minutes away for skiing cross country or downhill in the winter, and hiking in the summer. Seaside swimming, reading and relaxing!

The Fat Cat Inn

In a quiet neighbourhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES.

Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Purple Door Cabin

Our cozy guest cabin is nestled in the forest a five minute walk to the beach & near mountain biking trails. Dine Al fresco on the large patio! Access to the outdoor jacuzzi. Terrycloth robes supplied. Well equipped kitchen includes a full size fridge, convection oven, hotplate, microwave, grinder, coffee maker & outdoor propane BBQ. Indoor shower. Eco friendly Sun-Mar composting toilet in a separate building. There is a wall mounted Monitor (no cable) to connect to your devices.

Helliwell Bluffs

Curved boat like getaway adjacent and overlooking Helliwell Park, it's in the grassy oak grove meadowlands with spectacular open southern views, beach below. Featured in handmade builders of the Pacific Northwest. Stone, cedar, stainless steel, driftwood and sod. The house is best as getaway for 2 with occasional guests in separate bedrooms. all amenities plus a fireplace, heated stone floors and outside bathtub. Watch the storms or the full moon from the bedroom.

Modern Sunny Cabin by Sandpiper Beach +Bike Trails

+BOOKING 3 night minimum for Thanksgiving weekend + 1 block away from Sandpiper Beach, and 4 blks to biking trail head, this sunny cabin with a modern feel is situated on a large private lawn surrounded by fruit trees. Three bedrooms, living room with fold out couch, fireplace, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom with a shower and soaking tub. Back deck grill and dining area as well as an outdoor shower and fire pit. +Pets on a case by case basis+

PROVIDED ARE: Duvet, blankets and pillows . *** In March and April guests are hosted at a B&B in the main house in compliance with by-law 150 Forget your worries in this serene space. Magnificent views and a quiet neighbourhood will give you the downtime you are looking for. We are ferry dependent - check the ferry schedule !

This cozy studio overlooking Baynes Sound with walk on beachfront is perfect for one or two people. Enjoy watching the changing wildlife scenes and utilize our private beach access to beachcomb and launch your kayaks or paddle boards. Relax with your favourite beverage while watching the amazing colours of the Westcoast sunsets.
