Beautiful Period Fisherman's Cottage

Anchor cottage, an Historic Home and now with EV charger, is a delightful period, cottage situated in the heart of The Anchorage, once known as Mersea City on Mersea Island. It has three bedrooms, a large double, a twin room and a downstairs single bedroom. The bathroom is on the ground floor and large sitting/dining room with a gas heater and provides plenty of space for five people indoors and there is a private, wrap around garden with BBQ area that enjoys the sun at most times of the day.

Our detached lodge is set in the grounds of our gated property overlooking the hot tub and stable yard. It has 2 bedrooms and a large lounge with 2 sets of French doors to take in the views. TV,dining table and 4 chairs and comfy sofa. Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave and toaster. Gas central heating and heated towel rail in bathroom. A charming apartment located within the Grade 1 listed Layer Marney Tower! This apartment is situated within the main building of the Tower but benefits from its own private entrance and is completely self-contained. The apartment comprises an entrance lobby with a small kitchenette (microwave, fridge, kettle, tableware for 2), a 5-piece modern bathroom (shower, bath, toilet, sink, bidet) and a magnificent master bedroom with a huge four-poster bed. A perfect romantic getaway in the country!

The Loft, West Mersea

Sitting in the heart of the Anchorage area with open plan living with a lounge, kitchen, 1 double bedroom, bathroom with shower over the bath & WC, off street parking for 1 car & short walk to the Waterfront, Beach, local pubs & restaurants. 2 well behaved Pets allowed. We live on an island, sometimes the tide will cover the Strood (only Road onto the island). Please check tide times as you will be stuck waiting. It is best to arrive 1hr either side of the high tide of the day if over 5.0.

From the front garden or even laying in bed, watch the tide slip in and out, the fishing boats come and go and live, for a while, in a world moving at a slower pace.

Annexe Garden Cottage is located in West Mersea, next door but one to The Fox Inn. Walk to the beach via Cross Lane, further along the beach you can access the Hard. Annexe has off street parking, it's own private entrance & enclosed garden, garden table & chairs. & offers a great holiday base giving you access to both East and West Mersea. The accomendation provides kitchen, living & bedroom area & showeroom/WC. Bedding & towels are hotel quality giving you a relaxing stay.

Blackhouse Farm Granary

Blackhouse Farm Granary is a small self - contained property within the grounds of Blackhouse Farm. It is located in St Lawrence, not far from the quaint town of Maldon and the Village of Bradwell-on-sea. It is a newly refurbished space which provides kitchen facilities, a lounge, a bedroom with an en suite bathroom, wardrobe space and plenty of on site parking (see photos). The owners are happy for guests to enjoy the garden which surrounds their beautiful home.

St George’s Cosy Cabin with Jacuzzi Hot Tub

The cabin is set within a privately owned lane surrounded by woods and farmland. Situated within the grounds of our house it can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 small children. Cot, highchair and 2 single airbeds are available. It boasts a large patio with sunbeds and quality furniture and the jacuzzi is an added luxury, £20 is requested via this app if used. There is a large fully stocked fishpond of which guests are welcome to feed.
