We've hosted lovely folks from all over the world since 2017 in our family home--and now, we embark on a renovation journey. Changes for 2/1/26 + New sleeping arrangement; double-bunk bed replaced with 1 King bed + House capacity changes from 10 to 8 + Upgrading living room sofas and chairs + Repainting 3 rooms This is just the start of a broader vision we expect to complete by 2028. We’re just that, tucked away in the beautiful Black Hills only 30min from Rapid City & several favorite attractions: Mt Rushmore, Reptile Gardens, Bear Country, Needles Highway, Rushmore Caves + many more. Our property has opportunity to see lots of wildlife(deer & turkeys) + our own animals: horse, pony, 2 mini cows, 4 goats, 2 dogs & 2 cats. Walk/runners take advantage of the gravel/paved roads for a leisurely stroll.

This guest suite is the lower level of our home and has no shared indoor spaces. Outside you’ll be greeted with beautiful views and a shared hot tub for an unmatched in town experience.

Two sisters with a love for design renovated a small cabin into this cozy space for guests intending to explore the beautiful Black Hills. Adorable loft carriage house with hot tub

This is the original carriage house from 1892 that has been converted into living quarters with a small fenced in outdoor space. The cozy cottage is made up of two levels. On the floor level, is a small kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area with gas fire place (love seat pulls out to a single bed). On the second level, via a narrow steep hayloft staircase, is a king bed, tv, and private balcony. This quaint space is the perfect get away.
