The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

Welcome to Stittenham House Accommodation for up to 7 people in 4 bedrooms. Stittenham House offers a unique Highlands home for a wide range of interests. Large detached former coaching inn. Built in 1833 situated a scenic rural setting. 3 miles north of Alness and with excellent 5G broadband installed in every room. As yet the property is not equipped with EV charging. There is the Skiach service stn. 3 miles from SH which has EV. charging. To plug into SH domestic supply will cost £10 /day

Dunaincroy farmhouse enjoys a unique setting on the Caledonian Canal midway between iconic Loch Ness and the town of Inverness (6 minutes either way.) Set in an historic Highland estate this secluded location has extensive, fully fenced gardens down to the canal and spectacular views to open countryside and the hills beyond. The wilderness of the highlands and yet only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

Highland River Cottage with Hot Tub

A cute and cosy modernised cottage with hot tub surrounded by fields and with a beautiful river at the bottom of the garden. The house is well situated and has a spacious patio and lawn, enclosed garden with access to walks up the river and other beautiful local areas. A good base to strike out for West Coast and Highlands. We recently added a twin room in addition to our double en-suite and king bedrooms. Relaxing Farm Steading With Wood Burning Stove

'The Steading’ is a barn cabin on a working farm with wood burning stove set near the North Coast 500 route. Enjoy the peace of the Highlands while painting, writing, yoga, walking and cycling or simply relaxing in front of the fire with a cup of tea. NO SHOWER / NO HOT running water. Sanitizer and hand soap provided. Take your own bedding or very basic bedding provided. No phone signal/WiFi. Sleeps 2 only from the same household, or families allowed please message before booking.

Ideally located at the start of the North Coast 500 (NC500), just 23 miles north of Inverness, and a short distance between Evanton and Alness, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Scottish highlands Located between the Inverness- Wick railway line and the B817 (the old A9), it’s perfect for walking, canoeing, and fishing, or just relaxing.

Stittenham Cottage, close to 'The Traitors' castle

This comfortable semi-detached cottage is located next to the owner's home in a tranquil woodland garden surrounded by stunning Highland scenery. The cottage is exceptionally well placed for touring the North Coast 500 route and the scenic Cromarty Firth area. The cottage is just a few miles away from the famous Ardross castle, where 'The Traitors' is filmed. The cottage is in a rural location with the nearest town being 5 miles away, so having your own transport is essential.

Historic cottage in countryside location

Meikle Kildrummie dates back to 1670. Added later, the adjacent 200 year old cottage has been beautifully renovated and sits in a peaceful location within a 2 acre garden surrounded by open countryside. It’s perfectly situated as a base for exploring the highlands of Scotland, the fabulous beaches and places of interest around the Moray Firth, as well as being on the doorstep of the acclaimed Malt Whisky Trail. The Highland Capital of Inverness is only 20 minutes away.

Culnaskeath Farmhouse Cottage

Culnaskeath Farmhouse Cottage is an extension built in 1993, and blends in with the original house (1860). It's a cozy cottage with a wood-burning stove, two double bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. The upstairs landing has a desk and single bed. The house has views over to the Black Isle, the Cromarty Firth and across to the Cairngorm mountains in the south. Behind our house are six miles of forest tracks. From these, you can see Ben Wyvis in the west.

The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome. The ‘Servants quarters@Delny House’ is set within a private 17th century period home ‘Delny House.’ The Servants Quarters provides a modern, fresh look as well as being in keeping with the properties traditional qualities. The ‘servants quarters’ is set within three and a half acres of grounds with beautiful views of the Cromarty Firth, stunning Highland mountains and is directly on the NC 500 route.
