The Ferny Fern: Off-grid cabin and sauna near G.M.

Enjoy serene North woods seclusion just two and a half miles from Grand Marais! At the end of a foot path you'll find yourself at this charming off-grid cabin set in the forests of the Lake Superior bluff. This quaint cabin is filled with windows bringing views of the surrounding wood. It features a polished/rustic interior complete with well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and wood stove. Fall River access and guests now have access to a new wood-fired sauna and off grid-shower house.

The Lena Dome (5 min to Grand Marais)

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Directly on the Pincushion Trail System (which links to the Superior Hiking Trail) you'll find endless hiking options right outside your door. The Lena dome is 5 minutes from downtown Grand Marais where you can eat at amazing restaurants, hear great live music, enjoy time by Lake Superior, and explore beautifully curated local shops. The whole house has recently been updated and remodeled and is filled with light and greenery and offers lots of privacy. This cozy home offers a balance of open common areas, private relaxation spaces, and outdoor spaces to enjoy during your visit.

Modern, spacious studio with lovely Lake Superior views - centrally located on the East Bay in downtown Grand Marais! This spacious apartment features a full kitchen and a full bathroom. Wake up to lake views from the comfortable Room & Board queen bed. Walk to any restaurant or shop in town. Catch the Gunflint Trail just a few blocks away. Public Access to the East Bay beach is next door. The loft is located above a sauna business. This rental is not suitable for infants or children.

Come and enjoy what was originally built for an artist’s studio and converted to a pet-friendly cozy living space. The studio is a spacious 800-sq ft open-concept layout with charming skylights in the kitchen and bathroom, and windows to overlook Lake Superior. We’re located on Croftville Road, which locals call the "Walkers Road" - quiet to traffic and perfect for a casual stroll. Nestled along 540ft of rocky beach, Inn Suite #8 offers bird’s eye views and sounds of Superior. This spacious attic suite features a stunning window seat, wood fireplace, plush futon, wingback chair and ottoman, and private entry. Just off the dining area is a well-equipped full-size kitchen. The bedroom has a queen bed, gas stove, and balcony. The luxurious bathroom boasts a claw foot tub. Inn Suite #8 sleeps up to 5 people (2 on the futon, 1 child on window seat).
