Circumnavigate Lake Wendouree, a scenic 6 kilometres, and within walking distance of the house. This property is on the Goldfields walking track and mountain bike track. It is in Creswick which is part of the central highlands goldfields. It is 20 kms from Ballarat and Sovereign Hill and 25kms from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. It is close to town. You can walk to the supermarket, patisserie, 2 hotels, the wine bar, museum and the other amenities. The walking track goes to St George’s lake in the Wombat Forest. There are many birds; cockatoos, rosellas, kookaburras in the garden.

"Stone Cottage" was built in 1862 from local bluestone and was lovingly restored in 2014. We are adjacent to Woowookarung Regional Park, popular for bush walking and mountain bike riding. Stone Cottage offers old world charm with modern amenities. You will not be sharing with any others. The main bedroom has a queen size bed & the main sitting area has a single bed. .
